Celebrity DUI’s in Los Angeles-Christina Aguilera Public Intoxication

On March 1, 2011 Christina Aguilera and her friend Matthew Rutler were stopped by the LA County’s Sheriff Department early in the morning.   Matthew Rutler was driving erratically with Christiana Aguilera in the passanger seat.   The officers noticed the erratic driving and stopped the vehicle and arrested Rutler for DUI and also arrested Aguilera for Public Intoxication (PC 647(f)).

In a Los Angeles County Superior Court, Christian Aguilera may face the possible penalties for Public Intoxication:

                                  -Fine up to $1,000

                                  -Summary Probation

                                  -Up to 6 months in County Jail

Note that a conviction of someone’s third drunk in public, (“public intoxication”) offense within a one year period, faces a minimum 90 day county jail sentence.
