DUI Checkpoints in Los Angeles
The LAPD this week released a press release announcing that they are conducting a DUI/Driver’s License Checkpoint on March 5, 2011. The location for the
DUI checkpoint will be La Brea Avenue between Rodeo Road and Exposition Boulevard, Los Angeles, California.

The LAPD has announced that drivers who are suspected of driving drunk will be asked to perform field sobriety tests, and if the person fails, they can expect to face, “jail, vehicle storage fees, license suspension, insurance rate increases, fines, driving under the influence classes, other expenses that can exceed $10,000.”
